Chapter3: Kretopia

Arthur, meanwhile, was almost wetting himself. He was too scared to scream when the giant roared, but felt relieved when the giant rudely threw him down. Getting thrown from so high, his body shook so much that his body lost all senses of the fruit that brought him there in the first place. Arthur kept his eye out for anything else strange, deciding to keep his guard up until he made it back home. Arthur didn’t have time to think about what else could have been out there; he saw a centaur walking towards a boiling pot. There was more of the fruit in the pot. Oblivious to what was going on outside, Arthur wanted to stop it.
“Stop!” Arthur shouted. He could feel the heat from the pot, and outside of the pot, it was hot enough. Arthur could not imagine how hot it was inside. He did not want to watch someone burn up, so he decided to help the poor centaur. Arthur ran towards the centaur and the black, boiling cauldron. Arthur just made it when he got to watch the centaur crawl into the pot.
Amy, meanwhile, was trying to run away from the giant, but didn’t get too far; every ten steps of Amy’s was equivalent to one of the giant’s steps. The giant picked her up with one giant sweep with his hand, and clutched her in his hand. He had a firm grip on her, and was slowly bringing her towards his mouth. Amy struggled to free herself from the beast, but was not succeeding. Amy was almost in the giant’s mouth, when she gave a loud scream.
Arthur pulled the Centaur out, and used all his strength to tip the cauldron over. He grabbed the young centaur, and tried to run with it out the door before any of the boiling water hit them. The centaur looked frightened as it ran with Arthur out the door. They were almost out when he heard a scream that sounded very familiar. Arthur dashed outside and saw a horrible sight. The giant had Amy and was going to eat her. Arthur, although freaked out, knew he had to do something. But what could he do? If he tried going near the giant, he could pick Arthur up and eat him as well. Arthur decided to risk it, and surprisingly, the giant didn’t notice him. The giant was about to eat Amy, but Arthur gave him a kick hard enough that the giant felt something on his foot. Seeing Arthur, he scooped him up and was ready to eat him, but Arthur kept chomping on the giant’s fingers. Yelping in pain, the giant swung Arthur against a tree, knocking him out cold. Amy, seeing what had happened, screamed not only because Arthur was out, but because she had no hope of escaping now. Just when Amy thought her life was forfeit, someone jumped from the trees with a sword and slashed the leg of the giant.
