Chapter 3: Kretopia

Amy was really disconcerted because one moment she was on a peaceful boat ride making a new friend, and the next moment she lost her father and her world, literally. She scooped up some sand and dropped it to help her calm down, because she usually calmed down by fiddling with things. It helped her mind drift away from the situation she was in; you could say it distracted her. This situation was an exception , nothing could distract her from the situation. She felt like she could weep forever, but suddenly remembered that Arthur was there and didn't want to seem like a wimp in front of him, so Amy dried her eyes and held back her tears, but was surprised to find that Arthur wasn't around.
"Oh, great. Even arthur's gone. It's only a matter of minutes before I disappear, too!" She yelled, frustrated and angry. Where was Arthur?
                                             
Arthur wanted to be polite and left amy alone while he looked for food, and food he found. It was an exotic fruit, which he found in most of the trees. It was nothing like Arthur had ever seen, and it looked delicious. Arthur grabbed one, and making sure it was safe, he grabbed a sharp stone, and ripped the fruit in half. A purple-blue juice oozed out of the fruit and onto Arthur's hands, a sweet aroma  filling the air. Arthur held his breath in case the smell was harmful, but realizing he couldn't hold it for long, released his breathing, and was immediately enchanted like a snake charmer and a snake. Arthur grabbed the fruit and shoved it in his mouth, feeling like he never had before. When someone has an addiction, they are never in control of their actions; that's how arthur felt. He followed a certain trail with trees containing more of the same fruit, and as Arthur followed it he would grab more of it and shoved it in his mouth. Pretty soon, Arthur came across a gargantuan structure with a door seven times larger than him. Growing on the structure were fruit of the same kind, and, not having regained his senses yet, arthur walked towards it. Just as he was about to grab a fruit off the building, a man larger than him six times grabbed him from the waist and pulled him into the building.
                                                    
Amy had grown weary of waiting for Arthur, so she decided that if he didn't come back in a minute, she would go look for him. After thirty seconds she felt something was wrong, so Amy rushed to the same place Arthur was in when he was looking for food. Amy now approached a forked road, but she didn't make her decision by luck, she looked for clues that would lead her to Arthur. Nothing caught her eye until a baby centaur crossed her path. It grabbed a fruit and ate it, and instantly entered the trance Arthur was in. SHe watched it as it ran along the path with the fruit trees, grabbing as much as it could along it's way. Amy decided arthur fell into the same trance and followed the poor thing, and it wasn't long before she found the colossal building. Amy shrieked when she saw a giant snatch the centaur and bring it inside the house.
